Drew Freedman Clinical Massage Therapy Boston Massachusetts

"I never really considered myself a candidate for massage therapy. That is, until I woke up one day in so much pain I could barely walk. Thankfully Drew was able to slot me in on that day. The instant relief of pain was miraculous. And the follow up stretching exercises at home had everything back to normal in about a week without a doctor or painkiller in sight. Thanks again Drew. I'll be calling again soon to schedule a tune-up."

Drew Freedman, owner and founder of The Boston Bodyworker is a graduate of the University of South Florida Sports Medicine Program and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Drew's years of experience have allowed him to work at both the Professional and Collegiate level of competitive athletics.

During his eight and half years in Florida, Drew served as the Head Trainer for the women's volleyball team and the Assistant Trainer for the men's basketball team at the University of South Florida. He has worked with a variety of athletes ranging from the The New Jersey Nets and Tampa Bay Mutiny to the Canadian National Softball team to the U.S. Olympic Volleyball team.

The focus of Drew's Bodywork is centered on his ability to evaluate and access injuries.

----"Injuries can result from a number of causes. Some people feel that only athletes get injured. Injuries can occur just as easily to the common "cubicle dweller" or "soccer mom" as they can to the most advanced triathlete"----

Although a large part of Drew's practice is geared towards the triathlon and running community, he still takes great joys in helping people who suffer from common office injuries such as carpal tunnel or thoracic outlet syndrome. He is also available for educational seminars to discuss topics such as a more efficient and ergonomically correct work place and ways of avoiding RSI's (Repetitive Stress Injuries) which can account for a large amount of absenteeism and poor work production within companies.

Over his 12 years in practice Drew has taken the fundamental principals of all of these proven techniques of bodywork and adpated them to a style all his own. Through careful assessment, evaluation and treatment, Drew's clients have seen remarkable success that may have once been deemed unchangeable.
