Dr. Grace Steinley is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota, with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Science. Dr. Steinley is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) provider having successfully completed courses encompassing the spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity. She is Biomechanics certified for ART Ironman Performance Care and was part of the treatment team at the 2005 and 2006 Lake Placid Ironman. Through the NSCA, Dr. Steinley is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is a certified Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) provider. Dr. Steinley is active in Boston's running and triathlon community personally and professionally. Since 2005, she has been an assistant coach and injury consultant for Boston Fit's marathon training program. She lectures to various running and triathlon groups in New England about injury prevention, treatment, strength training, etc. Personally, Dr. Steinley has completed many marathons and triathlons. Throughout her life, Dr. Steinley has been active in the outdoors, spending time canoeing in the Boundary Waters, backpacking in Oregon and Washington, and skiing the Rockies and Cascades. Her experiences as an athlete have helped her immensely with regards to understanding, treating, and preventing training related injuries. |
