The aspiration of The Boston Bodyworker is to educate society of the many
benefits and types of massage therapy that are available. We want people to
understand the practicality of consistent massage treatments. It is our
mission to help people understand why a preventative wellness program should
be in the forefront of every individuals health goals. There are a variety of
massage modalities accessible to you. It is our commitment to help you
understand what "clinical" massage is and decide what the best
treatment is for your individual needs and to guide you in the direction you
choose. In order for us to accomplish our mission, we have resolved that we
will bring massage to you. The Boston Bodyworker will come to your place of
business where you may receive a 15-20 minute on-site chair massage.
It has been my experience over the years from talking with clients and
potential clients that as much as they wanted to "try a massage,"
they had too many unanswered questions and have been poorly
"programmed" by the media and other sources. So they decide to
wait.... And wait.... And wait. By coming to you, we in fact break down the
barriers in sort. You are in a familiar setting (i.e. your office), You
remain fully clothed, and will be sitting in a comfortable upright position
with the therapist standing next to you rather than on a table with a
therapist standing over you. This atmosphere allows for a practical way to
alleviate stresses of the job and at the same time gaining understanding into
the benefits of a massage treatment.
The Boston Bodyworker also wants to make it easy for you to begin your
treatments of clinical massage. Once educated and your questions answered,
you may want to begin regular hour sessions of massage. We now offer the
convenience of a location in Copley Square at 607 Boylston Street, 2nd floor.

All therapists at The Boston Bodyworker have joined the ranks of 21,000
other massage therapists and are currently certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). We are also Professional members of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA),
a professional organization serving more than 37,000 members who demonstrate
a certain level of skill and expertise through testing and education.
