Book with Jillian
Jillian received her massage certification in 2012 at Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Massachusetts, one of the oldest and most prestigious massage institutions in the country. She applies the knowledge learned there, and in her many continuing education courses since, to tailor her massages to each client’s specific needs. She combines deep tissue, Swedish, cupping, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and myofascial release to best help her clients maintain a healthy lifestyle. She has implemented these techniques in various settings including spas, gyms, wellness centers, chiropractic offices, and sporting events. She has practiced massage in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
Jillian firmly believes that relaxation in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment leads to an elevated sense of well-being. In a place of balance, her clients can receive the most therapeutic benefits from her sessions to reach their personal health goals.
She received her B.A. in Museum Studies and Art History from Juniata College in 2007. She is an avid traveler, athlete, and student. Her passion for ultimate frisbee drives her will to compete, travel, and stay active. She has played club ultimate frisbee for over twenty years, helping to captain teams and be a supportive leader in the ultimate frisbee community along the east coast. She has traveled to play in many tournaments, including matches in Spain, Italy, Canada, and California.
She also found her commitment to health and learning in yoga training. In 2017 she traveled to India to complete her RYT 200 yoga certification with Lila Yoga at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, one of the world’s leading educational yoga institutions. Her next educational goal is to travel to Thailand to train in traditional Thai massage.
In her free time Jillian enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, canoeing, gardening, and spending time with her husband Nicholas, and cat Ichiban.
